This is a non-commercial website dedicated to a scientific project focusing on the development of the complex plasma facility COMPACT.

Hosting

This website is hosted internally by the University Computer Centre of the University of Greifswald. The technical infrastructure is operated directly by the university. No external third-party hosting provider is involved in the storage and provision of the website content.

Note: The source code is built on GitLab.com via CI/CD pipelines, but the published static website contains no external connections to GitLab.com or other third-party services.

If you contact us via GitLab Issues or email, your data (such as your username or email address, if provided) is processed based on your consent pursuant to Article 6(1) lit. a GDPR for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.

Log Files

The following data is stored in log files every time a visitor accesses our website for reasons related to data security and for statistical purposes:

  • IP address,
  • time the website was accessed,
  • user agent (browser and operating system),
  • visited pages or content elements, and
  • referrer URL, if provided (page visited previously).

The purpose of logging is to recognise, limit and eliminate malfunctions and to detect misuse in accordance with § 12(1) and (4) TDDDG. The IP addresses will not be merged with other data sets. The data will be stored for a maximum of seven days, after which they will be stored in anonymous form for website statistics. Our webspace uses the open-source software AWStats for website statistics. No personal data is stored.

This website does not collect any data. This website does not use cookies, tracking tools, or analytics services. No personal data is collected or stored beyond the server log files described above.
